Homes zoned to Eastside High are east Lancaster and nearby unincorporated streets, including many newer tracts in ZIP 93535. Eastside opened in 2005. It is not Antelope Valley High, which serves older central and east Lancaster. Newer construction can still carry Mello-Roos or a solar lease. Price the tract, not the word "new." Which homes are zoned to Eastside High School?
Eastside High serves growing east Lancaster. The boundary covers many newer neighborhoods in 93535. Antelope Valley High is the older campus in the same ZIP story. Listings mix the names. Use the map.

Is the premium worth it?
Eastside is not a west-side premium. Buyers pay up, relative to older east Lancaster, for newer houses and the campus. That premium is worth it when the tax bill is honest and the builder-era systems have been maintained. It is not worth it when "new" means a special tax you did not underwrite.
Do not buy an Eastside tract if you needed a Quartz Hill or west Lancaster school and you are compromising on a commute you have not driven. Do not confuse this boundary with Antelope Valley High just because both say Lancaster.
Which elementary district feeds it?
K-8 on the east side is often Eastside Union, not Westside Union and not Palmdale School District. High school is AVUHSD. Confirm the parcel. The three names people mix up are explained on the district page.
